Voodoo13 Front Upper Control Arms

Forgive me if these have been covered thoroughly before, but I was unable to find anything and the search function seems to be pretty broken. I do understand they're a bit new, but I'm sure people are out there.

Will be picking up some HKS Hipermax IV GTs for my car and would prefer to do it right in the beginning by getting all the necessary parts. I was planning on splurging on SPL FUCAs after seeing the issues with SPC ones, including a lack of feedback on SPC's redesigned FUCAs, but came across the Voodoo13 FUCAs. These turned out to be a bit cheaper than the SPLs but look like they're engineered through the same principals. I will not be immediately tracking the car, but have plans to in the future.

Seeing Vividracing's sale thread, a number of people mentioned buying and updating in the future with their experiences. Looking to see feedback from anyone that has them installed and has had some time to play around with them.

If someone can link me to a good thread, please provide it and mods can delete this thread.

They're new, so no issue with the thread. I haven't seen any reviews either.

I'd still go with SPL, more adjustability and they are easier to lock the settings (easier on alignment guy)

I'll probably settle with the SPL FUCAs, but the Voodoo13 ones are an interesting addition.

I just got mine in this week! They are built very solidly and in the same league as the SPL hardware I've handled. The locking has fewer redundancies than SPLs so it could possibly be easier to adjust/less secure. I'd have had it on but I've had massive delays on my Stance Pro Comp II coilovers and won't be installing until they get here.
I'll be installing everything myself and getting the car corner balanced and aligned by a local race shop. I'll ask them opinions on their experience adjusting and def include that if they have anything notable to say.

Looking at the two designs (Voodoo and SPL), they are going to function exactly the same. The clamping screws on the SPL are reachable but I don't know if the jam nut on the voodoo will be as easy.

Both are quality components and the Voodoo come out a little cheaper. I have no reason to believe voodoo won't be the same, but SPL customer service is excellent.

Any follow-up with your experiences?

Looks like the voodoo is a copy of the spl for a slightly cheaper price. I'd stick with spl as they make quality parts. Also the price difference is not very significant
