Tein Streetflex

Looking at getting some Tein Streetflex coilovers.

Any input on this coilovers

Have you done any research? There are better coilovers out there IMNSHO.

I am running Tein street flex and love them. I chose them though because i have the optional EDFC electronic dampening paired with them.

It allows you to adjust the dampening presets on the fly. They ride and handle really nice though.

If you don't care for the EDFC though I agree, you can find better.

Ride

Does it offer a firm to close to stock ride depending on the settings?

The ride is very stiff but handles 1000x better than stock or a spring upgrade. Get a suspension shop to dial in the dampers and you wont be disappointed

Coming from the stock Nismo suspension it is softer than that. Although I personally wouldn't say it is very stiff. It rides really well has never been to the point in which i felt it was jarring. You can 100% tell the difference from complete stiff and complete soft when you change the settings.

I have had Tein springs and bc coils on my g37 coupe in the past and that was stiff and uncomfortable. I would not compare them to the Z with Tein Street flex. Personally i feel it performs and feels just like a sports car should. Not incredibly soft nor stiff
