Swift Spec-R Springs Thoughts

Hello All

I was wondering what you all think of the swift spec-r springs and whether or not they are a good buy.

Additionally, if any of you have any before/after pics, I'd love to see them.

Also, for those of you who had them installed at a shop, about how long does it take and what did you pay for it? I'm trying to set aside a budget for springs + install, so having a rough idea would be great.

Thanks a lot guys!

they're good for those that want to go lower but don't want coilovers.

there's a whole thread about them here with lots of pics:

Oh, hmmm. My only concern with lowering my car is with the exhaust I am getting. Not sure if it would be the best idea. Wondering if anyone has these with the ark grip exhaust...

I installed them last summer and was super easy. Took maybe 2 hours if that, along w some toe bolts and camber arms. The car handles great w them/stock shocks and The stance is not to low that you have to worry about scraping.

I installed them my self.. Super easy, car handles like a dream.. Got rid of a lot of body roll to boot..

Before and after

I took it for an alignment and was a bit out of stock spec.. Not horrible but it was still out. I chose to get front and rear camber arms. I actually installed them today

Nope, Did you take the spring silencers off the stock springs, and put them on the swifts? (they look like a peace of hard plastic that wraps around the bottom coil of the spring) They eliminate the noise your hearing.

These springs are a REALLY good upgrade on coil overs too if there's an option for them when you buy. One of the downfalls of the less expensive coil overs is poor springs. Upgrading them makes a nice difference

Along with this, are they right side up? I've heard of people putting them upside down also and will make a bad noise. How I have no clue but I guess anything is possible.

After reading all the reviews and hearing about the swift springs across multiple platforms I picked up a set for our Z. Going on right this second actually.

Good choice! Cannot go wrong with the facts. Swift Spec R springs are the best for the 370Z :D

Reviving a dead thread haha. I got another Z and got the ark grip v2 installed again....still not sure if lowering the car will cause scraping with the exhaust since it hangs pretty low as is. If anyone has the grip v2 and swift springs I'd love to hear if you experience any problems!
