brake light under hard accel

I noticed something weird the other night... If I accelerate extremely aggressively (i.e. near-7k rpm shifts) the red parking brake warning light flashes on briefly. It goes away as soon as I shift or back off.

Thoughts?

Top off your brake fluid. All the way to the max line. It's the brake fluid sloshing in the reservoir.

Another light you might see come on solid or flash briefly for the same reason is the ABLS slip light. They may both come on or just one or the other.

Check brake fluid level.Needs to be filled to the top mark.

Oooh, didn't think of that... thanks! Actually I'm going to check my pads 1st because 90% of the time brake fluid is low it's actually worn/thin pads.

I like this forum.:driving:

yup had the samething happen....hard accel the brake light came on and stayed on until I was done accelerating...then then the traction light came on and stayed on. It was the fluid. As the pads wear the hydraulic pressure goes with the fluid. I just replaced my pads
