Just picked up STANCE SS+ coils. Need for SPL/SPC front camber arms???
I just recently purchased a set of STANCE SS+ True typecoils. I've seen mixed reviews on need for front SPL upper control arms. I'm looking to eventually run a set of 20x9.5/10 front and 20x11/11.5 rears semi aggressive fitment. I know the factory arms are solid and more rigid, but lack adjustment points. I have a few really good Porsche tuner shops near by that specialize in suspension setup. My plan is to run close to factory camber specs (no hella flush/ over camber here). Plan on running a neutral drop, nothing slammed.
Anyone have any experience NOT running front upper arms??? I know the rear will probably be necessary. Any tips or information is greatly appreciated. My car is mainly to be set up for spirited street driving (back country roads) with possibly some auto-x. |
Rear is what you really need, front you should be ok

I have the stance pro comp II's and I do not have the front arms. I have been fine for a year now but I would love to have more camber, but not needed. I have SPL everything in the rear though, so she is nice and tight.

That's what I've been hearing thank you.

Great to know, THANKS. Any input on the rear items you got and found necessary or overkill? I'm going SPL with whatever parts I get, they have best reputation and Id rather do it RIGHT the first time!
Appreciate the info! Quote:

I'm pretty low and went with SPC rear arms and toe bolts. I do not have front arms. My alignment came out good on toe and caster and I'm around -1.5 degrees camber all around.

Contact Mark with Ravspec on here or email/phone and he can get the arms for you.

I got the same setup with stance coilovers and dropped damn near laying frame. I had to get the SPL camber arms and Toe arms to really get it to go into range with specs. Don't get spc if your going low with it..it doesn't have enough range to adjust. I had them before and it only did the job if going maybe a inch or two drop..wish I had someone to tell me before I spent TIME and Money ..going back and forth to the alignment shop..smh GOOD LUCK

Did not know this ^^ Thanks for the tip on SPC. I'm glad I did not run into issues.
