~Z~ still handling well,,,but wanted to ck. the front-
0* toe....not what specs call for,,,again i broke out the tape measurer & ck'd...same width on front & rear of Front tires....toe is 0,,,not - as was in the rear.
i see that specs vary, pending on spec sheet....0.02min 0.05max on one alignment sheet(in degrees) 0.05min 0.12 on another spec sheet (dealership) 0.05min 0.11max on (alldata spec) so definitely calls for positive toe on front.
loosened up adjusters & adjusted tie rod ends 1/6th turn outwards on both sides...now i'm showing about 1/8" front to rear....after test drive...Great! felt as if caster increased-as steering snugged a bit & feels even better at high speed straight line runs.
??? why can't these alignment guys know how to do it properly on a ~Z~ ???

those final numbers look like shittt .. i'd get that redone if dat was my car. :icon08: wtf..

was your car in an accident? is that why u need those weird numbers? i mean -0.02 toe on one of the rears? the hell..

I'm not sure if your issues are related to mine but my rear camber arm bushings were shot and caused my rear to feel like driving on ice.

He has a little bit of toe in the front and zero total toe in the rear -- that's fine.

-0.15 + 0.15 = 0 total toe.

Absolutely fine!

:rofl2:

The positive toe in rear came when I adjusted the camber myself,so the rear tires would be more straight up an down.... After I came back from track-I Putin new rear tires & took to alignment shop... Drove fine ( if you drive like little old lady/ not over 60 or so) but blast it up over 120 & hold on--*** end was dancing all over... Even though the paper showed near 0 toe in rear, it was actually negative 1/4"-3/8" on the tape.. Had to adjust a lt to get 1/8" closer in front of rear tires.... Been 140+ since- smooth and straight. 0 toe is not good on a hard straight away blast with a ~Z~

You need to have some toe-in for the rear for straight line stability. I'd set the toe (f & r) near the minimum of the factory range (f +0.03 & r +0.06).

I do now/ ckd it this past weekend and it was at 0.(by tape) went under and adjusted equally on both sides 1/6 of turn out on tie tods. Ckd and had 1/8" closer measurements in front of tires than in back.... Drives even better... Gonna put it on another alignment rack soon/ but I'm comfortable driving as is till then...just had to do it the old school way.... I will post final numbers after I have it ckd. But definitely holding a straight line under hard acceleration. Thanx guys for comments.
