Could you please describe what these "protectors" are? I did a test fit of the new bumper and found that the base front fender liners do not match. Are the protectors for the fender liners, or are they a different part? If so, do you have an idea on pricing for the new liners?

I Have attached a picture of the bumper protectors, i assume this is probably the gap you have that we are talking about. the bumper protectors part number is in red, the grilles by the DTRL's is in green.

if you are looking to replace the fender liners, for some reason they are a Nismo only part number. I'm curious as to why that is Nissan has never done that in the past Z generations they usually only change the lower air dam / splash guard.

The Fender lines would cost you $42.99 each if you did want to add them to your car.

P.S. Everyone else will be getting PM's today I'm playing catch up!

aszyd 09-22-2014 10:35 PM

Wonderful!

The part, in red, looks like it may fill the gap. Now I also know why there are three holes on the lower wheel well.

I posted this in another thread, but here it is on the car.

by the looks of things, looks like to have a 100% complete OE install you'll want to get both the protectors and the splash shields / fender liners.

How much is the back bumper cover and is it a straight swap for the stock unit? Also, noticed the the lower diffuser is a seperate part? If so can you please advise on price. thanks.
