The kit comes un-painted and we highly recommend to get it painted by a trusted local bodyshop of your choice for the best paint match.

Any paint with flake/metallic in it needs to be matched and blended with the other parts of the car like hood, doors, roof, hatch etc. So yes it's in your best interest to have it painted local so it can be blended properly.
