Tommy, have sat in this seat before and if so what is your waist size and height. I'm considering this seat as well.

No I haven't. I'm 5'11", 35" waist and a 44" chest. From what I've read the US edition is an inch or inch and a half wider then the EVO II and should accommodate up to a 38" waist. I'm hoping it's not to wide, I doubt it though.

Please let me know how they work out as my dimensions are the same as yours other than I am just over 6' tall. Thanks for the quick response.

Shouldn't be to long, there in Fla. so a few days at most I hope. Keep you posted. You should look into the Buddy Club seat rails(BC08-RSBSRZ34-L or R), especially since your over 6'. The other systems add to much height. I went with the Sparco side rails also, should guarantee me room for a helmet.

Seat came in today(Thanks Juan), fits like it was custom made for me. So I would say being an inch taller isn't going to hurt in any way. The opening for the straps(if your going that route) will be right at your shoulders and if you feel a bit high, you can always go for the thinner seat cushion. My head is just below the top of the seat, so wearing a helmet won't be a concern with the Buddy Club mount. So in my opinion you should be golden. By the way, the seat is even sweeter looking in person. Juan was very helpful and the price was the best I could find, plus it was at my house in 2 days, what more can you ask for.

I pm'ed you, but for others following along, the install was a breeze I highly recommend the Buddy Club rails. The fit is spot on, depending upon where you position the seat may cause it to touch the plastic on the door(barely) I'm not concerned at all. My two issues are, programming the airbag light, boy am I having a hard time. The other is that I'm going to have to buy another seat, they look great in the car.
