Anyone know a good Powder Coater?

Hey guys,

Im thinking of getting my rims blackened on my Monterey Blue 370 at least until I can afford some (much better) rims...
Does anybody know of aplace around Brisbane that I can get the wheels powder coated?!
Any opinions in that regard? I have obviously never done it before!!

I know one in Sydney. Is 1000km too far for you?

Who is it you know in Sydney anyway?

This won't help you find a powdercoater, but thought you might be interested in these pics -

thanks boardingnath!!
I already had that photo album on my favourites :P

Looks nice.
Im thinking of doing mine white though with perhaps a broken blue pinstripe to match the Monterrey Blue...
yes or no? :)

Depends on how "white" the white is! Given the blue is reasonably bright, I'd be a bit worried about the wheels been too bright as well.

What about a charcoal/gun metal grey colour with a pinstripe? Maybe you could paint the calipers and match the colour with the pinstrip?

Well im thinking like a matte white, nothing too glossy. These are the Australian spec wheels tho not the US 'Z' type 19's...

I thought of white coz I saw so many people doing black and wanted to be different. Charcoals a good idea though. Maybe even gold actually? Now you have me thinking!?

And yes I was thinking of painting the calipers but I did so on my previous car (Red Alfa Romeo 156) and the finish wasnt anywhere near as neat as the current Calipers on the Nissan. Im too scared i'll ruin their nice gloss and the NISSAN writing! Blue calipers (like the VW Golf R32 have) would match my paintjob beautifully though.... :excited:
