well after checking this morning on the group of dealerships which my car was ordered through I am surprised to find that there are about 4 other new cars just sitting there and no call from the dealer....

tried calling them, no answer... sent them an email...

waiting for response....

ok - not exact colour/spec I ordered but was promised a call if other colours/specs were available... and nothing. :(

not a happy bunny...

thinking of having a word with Nissan themselves....

not happy with the service to date...

Terrible service - really makes you wonder doesn't it.

I've noticed not many dealers reply to emails... atleast that's been my experience anyway. It's like they don't know how to use email.

The cars are basically being built per order.. pitty they can't stick the 19s on for those who want them.

I would think they would be trying to convert you to the cars that were delivered?

Oh.. and it could be the american in me.. but should be all strive to be a 'happy bunny'? LOL.. it seems like a good thing.. but it's the first time I've heard it.. :D

they rang within 5 mins of getting the email... having a look at their stock list now...

they can get me an auto in light silver or looking at their list for list of manuals...

prob still prefer the carbon silver though - not too fussed on either transm, thought paddles were a nice touch...

arghhhhhhhhhhh more confused than ever now! lol...

dilemma people - do you go for say blue manual or wait..... ;) what would you do?

i know what you mean mate - it screws up the whole manufacturing process for them....

I for one would pay extra for them though if we had a choice!

great news! after much searching and a little bit of negotiation, the dealer has managed to get me one - carbon silver in auto....

should be here in 1-2 weeks!!!! yeaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaa! :)

Hey there irishboy, this is so not good to hear. The few of us in SE QLD, have had pretty good dealings so far with our dealerships, so it's not good to hear this has happened to you.

Dont forget when you get the survey mailed out to you to fill it out. From my understanding , these mean quite a bit to each dealer whether they are good or bad.

Thats good to hear they are now doing something. Even if it's after you had to push them to do something. Personally the colour side of things dont worry me too much, I was happy with either Yellow/Black or White.

But after driving both the Manual and Auto, it had to be a manual. Just felt so much better to drive:driving:.

Again great news that you now dont have to wait till Sept (think that was your latest update). Either way you go, I'm sure you are going to love the car.

Hey AK, I thought it was Yellow that was faster:p. They even made it a special Edition in Europe LOL:icon17:.

But on a side note all the colours are hot!!!

I chased again today. they are trying to get the exact date for me. End of August atm. I cant wait.......So tell me have you worked out if you IPOD playlist etc is showing on the sound system screen with the mod you had?

Which dealership did you use irishboy? I've got two on order at Duncan Nissan in Victoria Park which are expected around the end of August.

Mine is a carbon silver and my business partner's is black. They're both manual transmission.

I received a call from the dealership yesterday telling me that everything is on schedule and we'll take possession in about 4 weeks.

Awesome, another carbon silver z. Don't worry though, it's worth the wait.

I think I've worked out that I have 70 sleeps till mine arrives.
