Aust Extended Warranty
 

I was originality advised when I first purchased my 09 Z that I could purchase Nissan's extended warranty anytime during the original warranty period. However, I contacted my Nissan dealer today inquiring about the extended warranty and was advised that Nissan no longer provides extended warranty unless purchased at time of sale since January 2012. Why would they do this? I don't think this is right.

Your service handbook contains a 1800-number for Nissan - call them and ask to be connected to the Customer Service Manager of Nissan Australia - when you get thru - ask him the direct question .... my Melbourne dealer still has an offer on the wall as of 2 weeks ago which offers the top-up warranty provided all scheduled services have been done by an accredited dealer ... if you are located in Melbourne, you can visit Nissan in person at the national head office in Dandenong ...

Thanks for the advice. My dealer is in Wodonga and they still have a sign at the service counter advertising the extended warranty.

I've just been advised by the dealer that Nissan's extended warranty is back on. 3 years 100K costs around $1000AU.
