Picked up the new roadster!!

Hey guys... picked up my roadster friday arvo and have been loving it all weekend!... got my side windows tinted today but we couldnt do the back one which sucked... no way to get to it cause of the cloth that sits right on the glass when it starts to fold up and you cant get to it all from inside the car!!.. anyways not too fussed bout that!...

However i want to know from others with a roadster or coup... i've noticed when i clutch to move into 2nd gear i hear abit of clunk coming from under the car... and then i also hear it abit going from 2nd to 3rd when i clutch it in... is this normal?? i can also sort feel on the clutch when i push it down that the last little bit that i push it feels like it pushes through something? hard to explain!...

maybe can show u guys on the next cruise what i mean... but its more the clunk it makes when changing in the first 2 gears that sorta concerns me... not sure if its normal??

any ideas??

thanks guys!!

btw pics up soon... i just spent 2 hrs this arvo buffing and putiing on paint protection from Paint Protection Direct - The ultimate paint protection and car polish for your car Paint feels soo smooth now... water is gonna run off it!! :)

Pics up soon!! :driving::driving:

There's a little gremlin underneath and he is trying to tell you to open the top and go faster! :driving:

Congrats on the purchase.

This has been discussed a lot. Real cars make mechanical noises.

The shift from 1 to 2 in this car takes a bit to get used to. Don't rush the shift. Shift slow and smooth if you are going slow to avoid that clunk.

u know at times u dont hear it but then other times you do?? i mainly hear it if im going slowly.. its like a bit of a shudder under the car.

Guess its normal if all you guys know what im talking about!

I think its just because its got a nochy gear box. I had 2 wrx's that did the same thing. All at low speeds.

i get the same thing on my auto, but onli happens at low spd, and backwards (like from 3->2 makes the biggest noise and 2->1)
