5,000km,15,000km,25,000km,....etc Service intervals Costs

I have had my Zed for a week now and just went over the service manual. I have noticed the car requires 5,000km service intervals which just requires the air filter to be cleaned.

My car is on a lease, so i am required to do all services stated in the logbook. What are Nissan service centres charging for these 5,000km services?

I would usually do all the work on my cars myself but being on a lease now I have to rely only dealership servicing centres.

The best people to speak to I guess would be Nissan

My dealership has a big chart in the service centre that tells all the prices for all their cars for each xxkm service.

Maybe yours has too?

I have had my car serviced twice now and it cost ~200 per service (I supplied the oil as I have moved to fully synthetic). I also change the oil/filter myself at the mid-point between the services as I reckon that good oil is the cheapest insurance you can have for your engine.

Thnx for the replies.

I will be booking my 1000km inspection next week and enquire about the servicing at the same time.

I booked my 1,000km inspection today and also thought I would call 2 dealerships to enquire about the costs of the 10,000km interval services. Price from 2 dealership service centers are $255 and $410 (both inc GST). I know which I will be choosing when the time comes. The price difference is amazing and I dont know what gives the other dealership to charge an additional $155 for the same amount of work.

Also on a side note i enquired about the 5,000km services shown in the logbook and was advised these are not required according to Nissan. Our cars are serviced every 10,000kms only.
