How do you tell if its a 2010 second gen

Hi Guys. I'm going to but a 370Z coupe second gen soon. Just wondering how do you tell if its a second gen or the dealer has swapped the wheels to an 09 model? thanks for your help.

Cheers.

As far as I know its only the wheels.

Anything with the build plate before 04/10 would be a "series 1"

Thanks EVL370. I thought their are minor visual mods like key forb with Z logo etc... maybe that's for the US market.

Hi Gents,

I have just taken a series 2 370Z coupe for a test drive and I can report that
the only changes I can see are the 19" Rays wheels & tyres to match the new Roadster. The ipod interface is still the 3 RCA inputs & no USB.. Rather disappointing....

This is the official notification from the Nissan Dealership
1. Addition of the lightweight 19” forged aluminium “alloy” wheels as standard fitment
Fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 245/40R19 front and massive 275/35R19 rear tyres.
2. Addition of 2 new colours to the 370Z Coupe palette - Bordeaux and 40th Anniversary Quartz
(replacing Titanium and Chicane Yellow).
3. Addition of the Z logo to the i-Key fob.

And of course the compliance plate of 04/2010 onwards is a series 2

They wont be swapping the wheels as I know 100% that they are only bringing them in on the cars and not as spares.

Open the drivers door and the build sticker should say April 2010 or later.
