TMR Performance Parts and workshop.
Has anyone had any dealings with these parts. I'm always on the lookout for Forced induction kits that are fabricated in Aus so I'm not paying massive import and duty expenses from overseas purchases.
This company seems to of been around for a few years now and steadily producing more and more parts in house and doing complete builds also at their shop. With zClub Aus creating a new venture of Tier 1 auto (their garage), I found that they're doing a mid mount single turbo twin-spool kit utilising TMR parts. With packages providing power from 280-400kw ranges with the base cost of $12,500 which is staggeringly cheaper than using imported kits. Curious to see if anyone has had any dealings or insight into these companies and their performance parts. Even if anyone has this kit installed, would love to know of your feed back. |
I just stumbles on this as well. I am curious how they routed the charge pipe from the turbo to the intercooler.

Which version of TMR is it.
If it is Alan Heaphy and Team Mitsibishi Ralliart, they are a quality organisation. If the supplier is ripping off the name, I guess you should beware. Ask yourself what turbo they are using, who did the fabrication work and who will do the ECU/Dyno tuning. Also ask what is included in the kit and what is not (and what is required to get a running car that is not in the kit). In other words, do your research. The reason that twin kits are more expensive is you are purchasing 2 turbos and not one. I guess my advice is don;t be the test pilot 'cause if its not "right", you will lunch an engine if you go chasing boost and horsepower |
