Scrolling Phone Number List - Bluetooth Mobile

Has anyone else noticed that you cannot scroll through the phone number list via the sat nav or the controls on the steering wheel when on the move, however you can select any number via the touch screen?

I think its more dangerous reaching over and touching the screen than using the wheel controls...

Thoughts??

Yep, this is probably one of the most annoying things with the Navi/Bluetooth lol.

It is so much more dangerous leaning over to touch the name than using the controlls.... the first few times it happened I thought it was me doing something wrong or the button was sticking, then I realised it was linked to speed...

Does anyone know of someone cracking how to use the sat nav whilst on the move? Surely all those smarter people than me must know how to do it?

I thought someone said this is resolved at the 10k service when they flash the firmware of the NAV.

That's what 370Reasons told me with his 10k. I still can't
do no sat-nav'n on the go.
I went back to Nissan last week and they checked my nav software
but told me it's the latest.

Next update in Feb10.

Wayne, can u clarify that you can scroll past the first initial screen when nav'n or phone bookin'?

I'm sad to report that I am also unable to scroll past the first screen.
If you are just srawling along before the speed sensor kicks in then I have been able to.
The other annoying thing is that you have transfer your contacts one at a time and then after transfering a couple your B'tooth connection drops out!

I don't mean the CD map version, I mean the firmware of the unit. Im due for my 10k service in Jan/Feb so I really hope they fix it.

I have been resisting the iPhone on principal but fear I may give in to the dark side soon. Is there a new smaller model coming? At the very least my noob phone needs to be better that Ronnies.
