Ipod cable too short
The Ipod cable supplied for the Nav/Bose radio in the 370z is way too short. Is it possible to purchase a longer one?? Or can it be cut and spliced into a longer cable without much difficulty?? The supplied cable is a digital connection to the Ipod so please don't recommend commercially available analog connectors.
The Nissan cable provided has a proprietary connector at one end to connect into the Nav/Bose (in the center console near the driver's elbow) and an Ipod flat connector on the other end (like the kind found on the opposite end of the USB connector for the nano). |
If it is what I think it is just get a usb cord extender from best buy or radio shack.

May I ask why you need a longer one? I personally think it's a LOT longer than necessary since the iPod interface is displayed in the NAV screen so you never really have to really touch your iPod ever.
