So a friend has a Toyota FRS... he removed the rear seat to go full blown audio nuts. This custom ported box will hold a 12" Massive Audio Hippo 4000 watt Subwoofer. Interior of box will be mirrored, with red led lighting inside, and a 1" thick acrylic window in the back wall, facing into the trunk. The port faces front, and exits the box at ear level between the front seats.
This thing should flat out SLAM.
Fiberglass trim panels will blend it all into the interior of the car.
This project may take a while, but updates will follow.

2 more small pieces of mirror to mount inside...The mirrors give the illusion of having 4 speakers inside, and allow the sub basket to be seen from any angle as well. (paint can used strictly for demo purposes !!! )

Very nice and ambitious project considering ported boxes are hard to make given the tight tolerance to maximize clean output. Send us mor pix and progress.

I forgot to ask, is this your way of slowing him down a little bit further and messing with the handling? Lol.

edit: I forgot, you've done this before! You probably measure with your eyes closed.

Do you think the FRS will be able to haul around the extra weight? haha kidding

Very nice install!

Hard part is done. Box fits nicely into what used to be the back seat.
Port for sub is 9" from drivers ear.... This is gonna hurt!!!!!!
