yeah it was crystal clear on my stock system. I do have windows tinted and it worked fine with my stock system. I am going to argue this matter with the installer. This is unacceptable.

I agree man, what I would personally do is ask to watch them pull the head unit out and see the wiring and verify that 1. the antenna adapter is there and 2 that it is all connected properly.

I had the same initial problem in my Pioneer HU. I researched in the HU’s menu and found that the power source for the antenna amp (blue wire) was in the off position.

Kenwoods do not have that feature it is always on.

You could have a defective unit…………It’s statistically impossible not to have some defects in a manufacturing process, mechanical or electrical.
