New Headunit now random stiff steering?
 

I put in a sony nav yesterday in an odd location(street somewhere). I forgot to put the gps antenna and mic because I wanted to check if the sound was ok (bose touring with SOEM-4).

Sound was good, very happy, it was better than the bose HU. I drove home everything was fine. Later in the day I installed the Mic (plug in 3.5mm) and the GPS (plug in clip).

The GPS worked fine. I did not test the mic but now...

My steering wheel is stiff. I know its electronically controlled, the stiffness.

Any relationship between this? The NAV does have a speed sensor hooked up and works flawless. The wire was also hooked up before and the steering was smooth.

Any information appreciated.:confused:

The steering is constantly smoothly stiff (not low on fluid/belt or broken pump, although I wish it was that easy like greasing the joint)
