backup camera/2Din

So the previous owner put in some Polk speakers and 2 subs but I still have the OEM radio(nonBose). I am needing a backup camera due to tint. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GO? I see individual backup cameras being sold but no room for GPS(TomTom) and radar detector.
1. Do certain radios have an output for reverse screen?
2. Is it better to get the rear-view mirror kind?
3. What are some good brands?
4. Is there a better fix for backing up not involving radio?
THANKS

I have a BU cam that displays in the mirror and HU and I have to say that the mirror display is fully usable and just fine. One other option would be one of the units that comes with and LCD screen that you can put on the dash or cubby. Another alternative (something I have in my 4Runner) is a dual camera car DVR. You can set it so that either the front or rear or both cameras display in the 2.5" screen. I think I paid less that $50 for it and it has served me well.

The $25 ebay cameras work well enough if you go that route.

Honestly best bet would be to replace the radio, you get a screen and better audio not to mention many other features for your money.
