2014 Sport Full Audio/Video Install
5 Attachment(s)
Just figured I would show some pictures of my completed AV install in my new 2014 Track. Components consists of:
- Alpine INE-S920HD HU with USB music storage, Sirius/XM and NAV - PAC Video Bypass - Axxess SW Controls - JL Audio Evolution TR650-CSi components. - JL Audio Evolution TR350-CSI coaxials. - JL Audio XD700/5 Amp - JL Audio XD600/1 Amp - JL Audio 10" W3V3 - Custom built enclosure (wasn't going to pay $300 for one and wait 2 weeks to get it!) - Full Dynamat I am currently working on splitting the signal from the rear camera off of the rear view mirror into the Alpine. Anyone done this yet? I am torn between outright performance of the car and the fact that I am an audiophile but I have to have both! Enjoy. .... Oh and yes, that is Vanilla Ice playing. I have a few years on me. |
Nice job... Did you see a good increase in SQ by mounting the tweeters on top of the dash grilles rather than in the stock location?
|
Yes. To me it seems a lot clearer than mounting them in the actual stock location under the grille. A long time ago, I did AV installs for one of the largest installers in NC and since, I have always had an affinity for not just loud music, but extremely high quality music (I listen to all varieties). With the tweeters on top, it just sounded crisper to me. Of course, for the most part, sound quality is subjective to the listener.

Nice.. My only issue is your playlist. Vanilla Ice?? lol

Too funny. When my girls were younger, I had to take them to a hansen concert. I was looking for a rope and a three legged chair............
