zenclosure subwoofer question

Hey anyone with one of their boxes, can you tell me if the top surface is big enough to fit 2 small 4 channels (rockford or kenwood) or 1 large 5 channel amp?

You could fit either on top, but I do not rely recommend it. I mean you can do it I have done it before but it can shorten the life of your amps from the vibration. The vibration can shake parts inside lose such as circuits or connections. Do not get me wrong some sware by mounting amps on sub boxes, and I have done it as well but only in situations where the customer wanted it there. It can be done.

Take a look at my thread. Just don't mount the amps too far up. I have a similar box, but built by someone else.

As always, thanks for the tip!! I noticed on Cali install, you mounted behind the driver seat against the walls, is there other places you would recommend with drilling or modifying much of the car?<--Don't want holes everywhere or spent too much money on replacing trims if i return to stock to sell the car one day. Thanks!

Hey thanks! You actually gave me another source (hopefully) for sub box. Zenclosure, doesn't seem to ship to Hawaii, however, I decided not to mount amps on the sub
