My 100th post and 3rd mod
 
Special thanks to Division for his sticky on this mod. It made it so easy to do, I recommend it to anyone that has an Escort.:tiphat:

Does that consol piece just "pop out"? Cup holder permanently attached to the switch section? Thanks.

Yep. That was the part of the post that I needed the most. Just stick your hand in the cup holder and pull up, it just pops out. Try it, it's a very easy mod that looks factory. Good Luck.

I like it nice and clean. Buy by the time I get mine I will have to think of mods to do because they all have been done.

NICE JOB! I'm glad you were able to follow the instructions.

I'm thinking about swapping the LEDs, right now - the alert light is amber and the power light is blue. I think if I swap the two- it'll look even smoother.


Did you end up having to sand the "brim" off the button? I had to do that when I did something similar on my last car- not sure if it was necessary on the Z.

No need to touch the botton. The color of the lights on this one is red and green.
