Looking for a little input on iPod/iPhone stuff

I have searched on here and google in general. I have not found a clear answer yet, so I figured I would just go ahead and post...

I just picked up a 09 370Z Touring. Non-Navi, but it has Bose, Bluetooth, 6 Disc with Complete Sat Radio. It just does NOT had the USB port in the center console to hook my phone in.

Is it possible to add the USB to play music off my iPhone with OEM Parts? I see a lot of Aftermarket conversion things, but is it possible to go it factory style and HOW?

This is the part that keeps me puzzled...

Radio must have a "SAT" button or have "CH", "CHANNEL", "CAT" or "CATEGORY" printed somewhere on the face of the radio to be compatible (except Rouge, see below). This is usually located near the Tune or Seek buttons.
Does this mean I will have to do away with my Satellite Radio to be able to hook this up?

yes the sat function is used. but i don't believe in paying for radio so it doesn't matter to me. i don't have it yet but maybe it will work when the ipod is not plugged in. i'm too lazy to contact the company because i'm not ready to buy one yet

^^^Hahaha, understandable...

So how would a 09 Z have a USB port from Factory? Its in the owners manual as (Optional). Would it be a total different radio?

Anyone have a Factory USB hookup?

Not that i'm too well versed in the stock BOSE equipment in this regards, but if you have the Bose system and other's who have it with the USB, which yours does not from what I'm gathering, I would imagine that it would not be too difficult to using Tennessee's DIY to remove the dash and stereo unit to examine the rear of the unit, then using the FSM (use the search function on here to find and download), you could locate the USB wire part from Nissan Parts and then wire this in DIY style. Now , let it be known, I'm using pure logic and deduction. Only speculating the parts of the equation at this point. Thus tho, this leads back to my other posts, ;-) .........

just eliminate the BOSE equipment all together and replace HU with one which has USB already dedicated to it :) then it has all the function for your ipod /iphone. :)

Just thoughts ... GL!
