I just had the following installed:

Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT Head Unit
Pioneer ND-BC2 Universal Rear View Cam
JL Audio C5-650 Speakers
JL Audio TR350-CXI Speakers

Here is the picture of the Rear View Cam, which I haven't seen anyone else do.

That little square pops out if you have the bumper off, just a bit of foam behind it. I have no idea what the real purpose is, none that I know of. Then just drill out a hole and mount to the square. I like that it's perfectly centered, and almost looks like it belongs there.

What it looks like as soon as I shift into reverse, no matter if the unit is still booting up or not.

Pic with door open and iPhone audio / video cable. I never use the cable though, bluetooth synch is the way. I could tuck the cable, but I wanted to leave access to the USB part of the cable.

Looks eeeeexcellent. Did the head unit install into the original molding or is that an install kit?

Original molding... everything works except the steering wheel controls... you can wire them up and they work, but as soon as you turn the car off and back on, it all stops working.

wow that is stealth! I like it! I'm glad I haven't installed mine yet. How did you remove the rear bumper? So far I only found DIY: front bumper removal and nothing for the rear :stirthepot:

This is one of the best systems I’ve seen in this forum……….Pioneer is known for its quality units. My 3.02 firmware update for my Avic F series should be in the mailbox tomorrow! One of the great benefits of owning a Pioneer is that you can update the operating system including newer maps, POI etc.
There are some morons (Trolls) on this site who bash Pioneer who probably never even owned one and don’t even own a 370Z!

Are you using the PAC steering wheel controls?

Thanks, that helps alot... Some guy at bestbuy tried to tell me that I needed a $100 trim kit to get that unit into the car. And of course they didnt even carry the kit.

I think he misunderstood your questions. There is a trim kit, i Think its more like 40 bucks but you will need one...

EDIT: here is one for 30 bucks

I think you only need a trim kit if you have the Bose/Touring radio. You don't need one if you have the base model.

I love the Z3 in my corvette. will probably be putting one of these new pioneers in the Z, that way I can just swap out the satellite radio unit whenever I drive either car.

Thanks man, I was going for stealth... I paid people to install it though, I don't know how they got the bumper off. I only picked the spot for the cam. It 'may' be possible to pop out the square from the inside of the trunk if you can get everything else out of the way, not sure.

I don't think so... but I don't know.

The people that did it are a company called Car Tunes - (586) 294-8100.

Feel free to call them and ask, I'm the only 370 they've done.

They said they would try and figure out what went wrong so that when I get my amp and sub installed, they can fix it.

I'm been a premier guy since I started driving. I love Pionner products.

My BT and My Avic work great.

I started out on the Premier DEH-P900R

Excellent engineering.
