Help fine me a HU

So I am looking for a good selection or knowledge of double din headunits, but only looking at certain features which I require.
~Navigation - With traffic updates/re-routing, would love for this to help me find a quicker way home.
~iPod integration - Would rather have USB as I could use my Archos but if only iPod I can use an old iPod I have sitting around
~No CD/DVD navigation, hard drive base
~Price - I would like to keep it under 750 (from a store, I know MSRPs can be more)

I would love to have one with internal storage so an iPod or MP3 is not needed, but those seem rare to find. If no internal storage, then maybe SD card playable (preferable able to read up to 4-8GB). I know these will come with much more, bluetooh, back up camera integration, sat radio, HD radio, etc., but not really on my "need" list. Also, what other items will I need to get this working? Extra connection for steering wheel connection, I have a base Z so only volume, extra wiring to connect to base speakers?

Thanks.

Kenwood 6140 that would be my recommendation. Also there have been threads on this before.

Yes, but none talk about traffic with the navigation, none have talked about hard drive based storage or SD card based storage. I was hoping for a solid list of different HU that fit these requirements so I (and others) can find the one that fits there needs the most.

The only ones that are going to have hard drive storage are going to be easily over 800 dollars. A few of them have SD ready but I doubt that you can store on them. The only hard drive based ones that I have rely seen are the computer double dins, which are sort of a mess. Also why would you want hard drive storage if you have a ipod? I know a lot of them can read a external hard drive via usb port.

Internal hard drive is better as it usually allows for more formats to be read, my iPod is old and I would rather not just buy one for car usage. Also, not using an iPod will allow me not to have to route cables or do any cutting to put the iPod some where.
Well then raise the budget to 800, that is fine, just looking for what fits my options, threw out an average number that seemed to bring in most double din units.

No I mean over that like 1200 for a double din computer. Also the ipod cord can be ran there the glove box without any holes made. I mean you can get ones with internal hard drives but the only ones that I have seen are the older kenwood ones with the juke box and the new computer ones.

Ok that is great, anyways, the hard drive is on minor list first of all so can we get past that?
All I am looking for is units that meet what I am looking for (all options or just a few), I like to know all the options (different models) before I buy so I can research them and possibly view them in store.

I just bought and installed the Kenwood ddx 514 from my local audio shop. The entire Kenwood line is getting great reviews and a ton on guys on this site have them. That is why I got mine. The ddx 514 just plays music and movies, but you can add anything you want to it (navi, bluetooth,xm radio, backup camera, etc.) The dnx 6140 is a very good bargain also....Overall, I love my unit and you would be happy with any of the Kenwood units, for some reason they hit it out of the park with their recent models.
