unable to find any addresses using the nav

Hi guys, just got my 2014 370z a few weeks back and loving it but one thing that I haven't been able to figure out still is the nav. I live in NY and I haven't been able to find not one address using the nav. Been trying to save addresses to my address book but when I enter an address it never finds it.

So I pretty much ended up giving up, and just storing the places when I physically drive there and then just click store on the map. Any suggestions?

Most factory navi's require you to enter the street name separate from the house/building number. Not sure if that applies to yours.

Probably something real simple. RTFM - at least scan through the sections on entering and storing locations. Give a more detailed description on which keys you are pressing and we might be able to figure out what's going wrong.

Do you have the ny region set? Easy to overlook that one. I am constantly changing mine as I am in pa which is a different region then NY NJ :)

Yeah I have it set to region 7 which includes NY, every time I enter an address I never find the right one, always some other state pops up or something. Kind of annoying you can't set it to NY alone instead of including like 7 other states.

I enter a house number like 31-06 then when it ask for street I enter a street name like 85th street and it never finds it. Am I doing something wrong, anyone else have this problem?
