Bigaudiofanatic removes head unit from 370z..blindfolded

Considering I have done well over 40 370z installs, I had a customer jokingly say (I bet you could remove the radio with your eyes closed) After thinking about, challenge accepted. This customer had already had another shop do the isntall which I redid from the ground up. The previous shop forgot to put back a few screws as well as stripped a few. Find out how i do.

hey big when you do this guy's car, can you put the blindfold on outside the car, then someone spin you around a few times, then try to first find the car and do the install? lol :icon17:

please upload vid on results. :D

I've removed the HU from mine so many times its so easy. Lift up shift boot, unscrew two side panels, pop off. Remove bottom screws of Center stack. Pull up, unhook airbag, and start button harness. Unscrew radio out with the 4 screws. Done

You forgot the part where you unplug the radio harness, antenna harness, and climate control module. :bowrofl:

Yes it is easy just making sure you don't scratch the center console and doing it right. -

Oh my gosh I was rolling when I read this. You're so right. Wonder how many youtube hits I'd get with a title like that. Hmm 2019 redo?
