lol I'm researching upgrades to my sound system too :icon17: I'm looking to do a same-all-around deal with flip-up nav, 10" woofer, amp, speaker and tweeter upgrades. Just need to know which company does all of these...

Go to crutchfield.com and they will lead you in the right direction for upgrading.

I got the Zenclosure sub box and upgraded my radio to a touchscreen it was pricey for looks a million times better.

Next I wanna switch the door speakers but I am not looking forward to run all new speaker wire.

Search for previous threads asking about audio upgrades. They will give you a good amount of info. Also whats your budget? What kind of music do you listen to? Do you want a sub? This all needs to be factored in before any suggestions are made.

I recently put in a Wicked CAS box and sub, if you need any more bass that what that can do you better get a plexiglass rear window. haha. It does sound good though.

truthfully i like blasting dubstep lol. , i do want a sub but only if its in check with my vocals.. i hate when peoples subs overpower the radio and you cant hear ishh besides their doors rattling

I am totally with you on the over powering bass. :tiphat:

If your into dubstep your going to want not only a solid set of components that can handle good mid bass but a sub as well.

Speakers I would recommend are Hertz HSK165 or Image Dynamics CXS's

Any head unit would do, I just recommend kenwood or alpine over pioneer. Whatever you do if your trying to save money, stay clear from crutchfield. Way over priced.

As for a sub, you could get away with a RF punch series but I would recommend alpine's type-r 10 inch instead.

Amp, alpine PDX-V9 or you can go with 2 amps of a good brand if you would like.

Let me know if your looking for an installer as well. :tiphat:

I added 6.5" components in the front, 3.5" in the rear, and one of these:

^ this by the way is juvenile overkill, but it makes me giggle (as well as making my wife's boobs jiggle), so it is without regret.

I'm not offering advice per se as I know near nothing about car audio, but I am glad I changed the speakers.

Let me know if I can be of any help... I have a $799 stage 1 package for 370z
That comes with JL sub + Magicbox + JL amp + JL components. Yup all for $799.95
