Antenna stopped working with Kenwood HU

On weekend #1 installed a Kenwood DNX 9140 HU with the first remote wire off the scosche harness ran to both the attenna adapter and the axxess steering wheel controls.

The attenna worked fine for a week, radio was crystal clear.

On weekend #2 I installed the amp, using the second remote wire (which was run to the back during the headunit install on weekend #1). The amp works as expected, and turns on and off with the headunit.

The antenna, on the other hand, no longer works.

The axess steering wheel controls also work fine.

Is there a fuse for the antenna? Or is more than likely the remote/antenna power wire connection (which was soldered)?

I am hoping there is something somewhere that can be fixed without having to go back into the dash behind the radio.

Thanks
Mike

i dont remember if the antenna booster had its own fuse or not. check the fuse box behind the kick panel driver side.

ur gonna have to open up the dash again to troubleshoot. the adapter doesn't have a fuse but im betting since you soldered the connection that the antenna connection to the stereo wiggled out. betcha too much Fast and Furious :driving:
