When i installed my MirrorTap, I remember I had to use a lot of force to get those things to slip in next to the wires. I had to play around on all four sides of the Wire to see which side easily went in a little bit first, then pushed down further with force until it was in all the way. I think I even initially bent the connector prong since I was on a side that was tighter than one of the other 3 sides, but bent it back in shape tried a different side and it went in. It is a lot easier if you remove the harness from the mirror as well.

Most likely the black wire is ground. From there, figure out which wire is switched power (i.e. +12V when the ignition is in the on position). Once you've confirmed those two wires, jam the invisicord wires into those slots and you should be good to go? If you don't have a multimeter, go get a cheap one from Harbor Freight or something. It's an extremely valuable tool to have. |
Don't you have the 2014 service manual?
The wiring diagrams are in there with the proper color codes. I suggest you find the free downloads site and then get to work. |
