iOS 6 Tricks Bose to think it's a phone call

I have a 370z 40th Ann. touring/sport, no Navi. So the car has bluetooth for phone calls and does not support bluetooth streaming.

I have noticed that whenever I use Siri in the car or some type of voice recognition (to dictate a text, for example) that the radio mutes, of course so the phone/radio can hear my voice. Great feature, and the Bose displays "in call 1 second...2 second...etc." So essentially the iPhone 5 tricks the stereo into thinking it's a phone call in order to mute the stereo.

The other day I noticed the new Google Maps does the exact same thing! When Maps speaks the next steps for directions, again the Bose enters phone call mode and I can hear Maps speak over the car's speakers.

**So, my question is, how can we make the music app in iOS6 also trick the stereo into thinking it's a phone call so so bluetooth music streaming will work?**

Brainstorm away, thanks.

I believe there is a way to do it with Jailbroken Iphones, but the catch is you lose out on 1 channel of sound. I have done it so that the phone will push music to a hands free headset (works great for listening to stuff while at work, haha). Again you just have to cut out one of the channels which would mean the sound quality would suffer in a car.

I figured it would be a jailbreak deal. And I was afraid the quality would sound like a phone call. Good feedback.

heres a few tricks that people have found on non jailbroken devices. Not sure if this still will work on IOS6.

The biggest issue is you won't get stereo since it was never designed that way

Aftermarket head unit? That would fix the problem. LOL
