Zenclosure Boxes

Should I get a upfire or the box that faces back with 2 JL 10' w0's or W3's or one 12" same either W0 or W3. What sounds better?? If anyone has this already. Also I could eventually trade up to a 12" w7 or something but not really with the 10"s?????? Can't make up my mind

I have a 12w3. I love it. It gives IMO the right amount of bass.

I have one 12" that faces back.... You should be happy either way b/c car is small

It would be louder facing back.

Does it face up or back? I was thinking that two 10's would look crammed in there.

It faces back. I haven't seen too many people with 2 10's.

I had 2 8" w1s originally in my car. They filled in the music fine but couldnt touch the deep lows I was accustom to with my old JL W6s. If I could do it all again, I would of just got the wicked cas spare tire box with the 13" tw5 and called it a day.

I was kinda disappointed in the volume that my Sundown SA-12 is puting out rear firing. My IDQ12 was nearly as loud which is sad because it is more of an SQ sub.

Rattling

Anyone experiencing rattling being heard from the outside due to the bass? Is Dynamat or any other sound deadening needed?

vermithrax 07-24-2012 12:01 PM

In the past, I've never been able to get rid of all rattling due to bass. When you have that much vibration going on, it's tough to pin point where every rattle is coming from. deadening helps though.
