How do you secure a Sub from moving?
How do you secure a 10" sub box in the back of the Z without looking tacky?
Seems like a simple question... i had a bungee cord over the subwoofer in my last car to prevent the sub from moving, but it was in the trunk. Now that all the goodies are visible i am searching for a more elegant solution. Suggestions welcome  |
pics so we can see where it is and the shape might help.

I am mounting a 10" JL audio sub in the box below. It's less than 12" tall so it'll be just over the brace in the rear. I'd like to mount it right behind the alum cross brace in the rear.

Bolts through the mount through the floor board, Find a empty threaded hold to sue on the metal in the trunk. Self taping screws through the box through the metal. Cross brace between the sides of the trunk. Wide board underneath the box to help give it area from flying around.
Or if you do not want it looking tacky, buy a zenclosure. |
