Looks like a damn nice sounding system.

Nice! How do you like the C3's. I have a pair I'm getting ready to install.

Looks real nice. How do the subs sound firing against the top like that? Any rattles from the hatch?

papishampoo16 04-12-2012 08:42 PM

VERY minimal rattling... i was trying to be as unrice as possible.

Bigviet23 04-12-2012 08:45 PM

Very nice looking! Congrats on a sweet setup. I'm trying to decide on what sub to go with right now, I'm on a small budget (as always lol).

You can get jl w3 subs for a good price

Th3 On3 04-17-2012 12:48 PM

So would you recommend 1 jl w3? Or would 1 jl w6 b better?

What amp would b good to push just 1 w3 or w6 (12in)

papishampoo16 04-17-2012 01:01 PM

As far as subs go... The w3 is more than sufficent for our cars. A w6 might be overkill. As far as amps go, the new jl hd amps are amazing but a little pricey a cheaper alternative would a 4 channal jx amp from jl

mhcoss 04-17-2012 01:06 PM

Nice man thats gotta be loud as hell!

papishampoo16 04-17-2012 06:18 PM

its hit pretty hard but it sounds so clear its unbelieveable and theres no rattling. Ive had many different sets ups in different cars but this by far has been the best

Hi, so I ordered n revived my w3
I need an amp kit now!

What would u recommend there? I found some neat kicker amp kit fairly cheap?

Or does it even matter?

How about the gauge?

Sorry for the questions u just look like the go to guy for this stuff!

The set-up is clean looking. I like the jl's a lot.

90 ST 05-07-2012 03:28 PM

looks good, my only problem is how high the box sits, seems like there was no need to get that high with it.

The sub box looks supersized...that said; how does it sound? What's the interiior cu.ft. of the sub box?
