Pauly 04-10-2012 12:07 PM

do you know of any good sites to buy car audio gear at a discount?

04-10-2012 12:35 PM

Crutch field

Pauly 04-10-2012 01:11 PM

o snap i forgot about that, +1 bro!

kenchan 04-10-2012 01:11 PM

pauly try amazon. i get most of my gear there.

crutchfield has great service!!

Pauly 04-10-2012 02:18 PM

yea, amazon, i need to create an account

kenchan 04-10-2012 02:50 PM

if you become a premium member for amazon you get free 2 day shipping.. i think its like $70 or something/yr but 70 in freight is like nothing if you buy stuff for your house and stuff. you can even share the premium account with family members too so they can pitch in. ive had stuff arrive on sat and sundays even.

why am i advertising amazon? lol :icon17: but they are a reliable source for my stuff.

It's called Amazon Prime, and it's AWESOME! Seriously the best $70 I've ever spent on the Internet.

You get free shipping, and you also get streaming videos.

stay far away from them... scam artists... Crutchfield (if you like warranties), SonicElectronix (if you dont).. +1 on the Amazon Prime too.

the fact that you are advertising for amazon is a testament to the quality of the site! thanks guys. i just might spongue of my dad's account, assuming he has one. he buys a lot of crap he doesnt need!

alcheng 04-10-2012 11:58 PM

I got most of my stuffs from eBay, I know many would say -ve things but so far I have good experience, you just have to be careful and make sure to choose a +ve feedback established Store. I got all my hardware from different sellers, brand new HU comes with warranty, 2 days shipping. Round up save me some good money.

2004YZFR1 04-11-2012 12:16 AM

I bought a couple of things from them and didn't have any problems at all. I ended up buying my gear from three different places to get the best price on my build.

Bonezzzy 04-11-2012 06:19 AM

Have ordered many things from sonicelectronix.com - great deals/free shipping

Pauly 04-11-2012 06:21 AM

jsramair 05-03-2012 03:31 PM

I ordered four Infiniti 6x9s for my Ford Ranger from OnlineCarStereo.com No problems and I got a great deal.

RonRizz 05-03-2012 04:07 PM

Ive used onlinecarstereo on several occasions without issues

BigNate 05-03-2012 04:43 PM

i by local and support small businesses that are authorized dealers of the product i want

RonRizz 05-03-2012 05:56 PM

I do as well, when a customer asks for a product that I can buy locally. Unfortunately, there are far too many brands out there to suit everyones tastes, and I try to steer clear of making recommendations to anyone, even though a close friend owns a local shop.
This day and age, it seems like price is more of a factor to most than any other consideration.

Another good thing about Amazon Prime is that if you are a "student" you receive 6 months of free 2-day shipping without having to pay the $79:

Amazon Student

Onlinecar stereo is great IMO; I've been buying for a cpl years and have always had fast shipping and good customer service. I recommend them.
