Kenwood DnX 9980 Problem
 

My unit has started rebooting randomly. Not too often,but enough to annoy the h*ll out of me. i notice on the kenwood forums this has becomw an issue for some others as well. I hate to have to send it in! Just a heads up, Really like the unit but...

I dont yet have this issue with my 9980HD, do you have a loose ground or power wire? Maybe a fuse?

Have you updated to the latest firmware just in case that helps?

Thanks for the response guys. I have updated the firmware some time ago and am now trying to find any loose or bad power or ground connections.

I dont know much about the deck.. Can you customize it by adding files? Or maybe the update did not fully take? Can you try that again?
I would call Kenwood and see if they have any ideas too.
