Stock Radio Changed
 

Just thought I would let people here know about the change I made to my stock Radio.

I took a drive to Newport beach and could not stand the fact i did not have a nav system to get me around.

So when i got back in town, I did some research on some systems. Pioneer came out with a brand new system. It was just released on the market last week.

The unit works directly with an Iphone or an Android, using some of the compatible apps right on the screen itself. It fits perfectly in the Nismos stock mount. Its voice activated, Blue tooth, touch screen, the NAV is 3D or 2D etc.. One of the reps even told me you can do hands free txting from it, but I am not sure about that. I do know it will show updates from facebook and twitter. Although i have no idea how handy that is while driving.

I am still getting used to the system and if interested I will show a video update in the future.

Kenwood DDX719 does the same.

I looked this one up.. It has some nice features but it does not do 1/2 what the pioneer does.

Yes, and i am glad decks are starting to use the phones and trying to make things more hands free!

Thx, I have been looking for a better radio with features like these.I have looked into Kenwood and alpine and each has their pros and cons. This looks to be the radio. Are you planing on replacing the speakers or adding a sub?

Looks like a nice stereo/nav, but damn that's expensive. Glad it fits the Z so well.
