feedback from bose system
 

Just bought my Z a couple days ago. Loving it so far, but a couple small things to take care of. When the volume is low or all the way down i can hear a high pitched "feedback" noise that would get annoying if I am driving with the stereo off. Just checking to see if its something simple. I have a few months left on the warranty so if they need to fix it that's fine too.

Sounds like a dealer thing, it may be a bad amp, or bad ground, but unless you want to swap to a good aftermarket system i would have the dealer look at it.

Yup that would be a bad ground in the wiring.

might be an intermittent issue. I didn't notice it today.

Check the source of your music. Are they all with this background noise?

Its similar to the hiss you would get with no source but volume all the way up. Its notable on all sources will volume at 0.
