Maybe it needs to be checked... loose wire/connection maybe? Bad Mic? who knows... |
Me too, the OEM module works very well, otherwise you might have to use a noise-reduction headset.
|
Bluetooth audio quality is not terrible, but I noticed people had a much harder time understanding me once I installed my cat-back. Then again, audio was never crystal clear to begin with.
|
Mine works great. So does the BT in my wife's Murano. Even works great for voice dialing and Siri voice commands.

Same here. I think it has a lot to do with phone comparability or the lack there of. 1stgen Moto Droid sounds great on both ends, but a lot of features do not work though. YMMV |
I'm not sure if there's a difference in bluetooth on a Touring vs non Touring but mine works great and with the Navi interface makes it all so much easier.
|
I have the Nav as well, Im not sure why mine has issues. Hope the dealer can figure it out. Im using droid Incred2 and it works fine in my Ridgeline

No problems with mine. 2011 w/iPhone4

I've had Bluetooth headsets not work well just because the accelerometers and GPS in the iPhone were taking up processing power. If I stopped the Bluetooth would work fine. This doesn't seem to happen with my newer iPhone however.
|
I had FI 18" CBE and never had a problem with my bluetooth.
|
I know people have had issues hearing me when I'm on BT and driving on rough roads. The road noise seems to completely over power my voice. I'm hoping switching to some quieter tires after the stock Bridgestones wear out will help. I will also probably add some sound deadener at some point as well.
|
I have only had a couple calls in mine since I got the car, but I my phone is a Dinc 2 as well and I had no issues and the other parties didn't complain about not be able to hear me clearly. Like others have said may be worth getting it checked out as it could be a bad mic.
|
by any chance does this seem to happen to you on the highway? I have had one or two people mention it to me when cruising at around 80 due to all the road noise.

When I first got the Z I had a Samsung Galaxy S phone... it didn't work well at all with the bluetooth receiver. The people I talked to said it sounded awful and there was a bad echo effect, and I tried everything to reduce it.
Now I have a Galaxy Nexus and zero problems. I'm convinced the phone has a lot (if not all) to do with it. For better or worse. |

BTcan be a pain that's for sure. you have to remember that it is real just a speaker phone in a car bouncing of cell towers...
my car came with a base system. so i took a chance and got a FMV mirror from OnStar and paired it with my iphone 4s and it works great or as good as any system should............... |

Try placing your phone in the trunk as far away from head unit as possible, the BT in my truck hates my phone close to the reciever, if I toss my phone in the back seat it clears right up,seems 3 feet away makes a difference.
I dont have issues with my BT in the Z,seems to be a proximity thing in my truck. |
Mine works great. I don't hav a nav, but my wifes Murano does have a nav and her bluetooth is intermittent.
