menu control switch

I've had my Z for 2 weeks now and haven't had any issues thus far. However yesterday my menu control switch stopped working for music features only(iPhone). I can still move between menus with it just can't go from song to song. Im guessing something got disabled and i went through what i believe is all the menu options but i never found anything even close to talking about the menu control switch. Anyone know the fix?
