Will 8" bazooka bass tube fit?

Does anyone know if the 8" bazooka bass tube can fitted/hidden in the small area in front the the spare tire where the BOSE amp would normally be? The dimensions are: 18"D x 8-1/2"W x 10"H

Here is a link: Bazooka BTA850FH 8" Big EZ Bass Amplified Subwoofer Kit w/ Harness

I'd like to install this low profile as I've seen others do with the 6" Bazooka bass tube.

Thanks!

I know a few people have a bazooka tube in that area. However I would recommend the kenwood stealth sub instead, much more accurate bass tones.

I dont know about the 8" tube, but I did install the 6" tube and was VERY pleased with ths sound of the 250watt 6" tube. Does a good job for what it is plus its very stealthy.

Any updates? Did you ever try to fit in the 8"? I'm considering the same.

I would like to know too.

I measured it out using the specs on Bazooka's website, and it didn't appear to be a reasonable fit. I'm sure with enough cutting and fitting in that area you could hide the eight inch bazooka sub under the trunk mat, but I'm going to build a custom fiberglass box inside the spare tire instead for a 10" sub :).

Hope this helps.

I've always been thoroughly unimpressed with Bazooka products.

+1........... :iagree: IMHO I think they are just cheap junk. One needs to remember that you have to pay to play. If you want something, then get something good & you will be happy with the result. Look & see what everyone else has for HU's & speakers & you will notice that they are all good solid name brands.
