Head Unit Question? Kenwood DDX418

I am about to order the Kenwood DDX418 DVD in dash receiver and just wanted to know if anyone has any experience? any input would help. :tiphat:

I have the Kenwood DDX in my car and it's a perfect fit with the approriate dash kit...

Head unit works fine
Ipod works fine with it
Steering wheel controls are great (bought seperatly)

Overall: 4 stars for this Head unit

I have to say, I have a kenwood excelon unit, one of the best ones out for this year, and I love it, I used the ipod interface for the 1st time, and I was blown away how easy it was to use and how fast it operated.

Im a kenwood fan from here on out.

The excelon series are dog slow IMO every one I have installed seems to be very slow. cookzmonster, and OMGWTFBBQ are just two that I have done and they both agree they are slow. If you want a fast unit look at the alpine 910.
