Hey guys PM me on how we are splitting up the cost for plane and hotel stuff. Who do we send the checks to? We should probably get the plane ticket booked soon so the price doesn't shoot up since it's getting closer to Thanksgiving holiday.

dthem370 11-13-2011 11:23 AM

After speaking on the conference call with some of you guys, I just want to let you guys know I'm 100% committed to the plan. Please just keep me updated on how we are splitting up the costs for airfare and hotel.

Hey Guys,

So the following members were on a conference call this AM to discuss Matt's potential trip out West; and are committed to move forward:

theflyest1 (Lohit) - full day build
IDMAC (Denmark) - Full day build
DTHEM370 (Dan) - Full day build
Threeseventy (Steve) - partial day build

The length of time for builds noted above are my best "guesstimate" based on what everyone discussed - Matt please chime in if I'm off.

We want to move things along and send Matt airfare/lodging funds this week; so we've set a deadline for this Wednesday (11/16) to let us know if you want in on this opportunity. We are looking for Matt to arrive on the Friday after Thanksgiving (pending Matt's confirmation that those days still work for him).

Again, if we can get 6 total people confirmed for installs - the per person cost will be ~$65 each for airfare; plus one night's lodging ($~75; or your guest room); plus a DISCOUNTED install charge.

Hope we can get this finalized and get Matt's ticket booked soon

Just spoke with BigAudio- the original dates right after TurkeyDay should be good still, so we have a 3pm PST TODAY deadline to commit, payment for flight/hotel by tonight via PAYPAL.

For those of you not in the loop yet- this is the last chance to sign on for the event of the year - we're bringing bigaudiofanat to CA for a week or two and we may have space for one or two more so read the thread history and get on the bus! Here's a general idea of the minimum spend- Front speakers cost about $100, amp for them $80, I've seen a box with sub on the parts board for $220 this weekend. Installs run a couple hundred bucks, it will be about $100-$120 each to get him here and pay for a night at a motel. All you have to do is pick up components prior to his arrival and he works his magic.

Sorry I missed the call this morning. I am in for sure! Let me know the total and I will forward payment.

I am free anytime, so just let me know your schedule.

@everyone. Do you think you can list the parts you are getting, so I have something to base my build off of? Thanks! If it is private/secret, it is cool.

@Matt. I still need suggestion on what to get prior your arrival. I will call/email you later. thanks.
