Bluetooth issues
hi
apologies if this has been posted before. i am new to this and haven't got time to check all the threads ! my bluetooth functionality is fine and i can hear people just fine when i call them or they call me, however, sometimes people cannot hear me very well. most people say my voice cuts in and out. it's not a signal issue and i have tried different handsets (HTC Hero and iPhone 4) and this has made no difference. the nissan garage in bournemouth were less than useless (which i have come to expect from them after dealing with them re a 350Z we used to have and now my 370). has anyone else experienced anything similar and does anyone have any solutions ? its seriously annoying that i'm having to risk points on my licence because of this fault and the fact my dealer is too inept and unhelpful to do anything about it ! thanks Matt |
My bluetooth wasnt very good at first either. It has gotten better since then though. I believe the only things I changed were just lowering the volume on the radio to about 14ish or so. And usually I put up the windows. Its definitely better now then compared to when the car was brand new.

My experience with my Z and my wife's Murano is that background noise, like wind noise, will activate microphone noise cancellation and cause that cutting in and out. Gotta roll up the windows.

Where do you guys put your mic volume? I have mine mid way and with the windows up still get complaints of my voice cutting in and out. When I turned it up higher everyone said it sounded like I was shouting at them.

It's an option in my nav settings, you might not be able to do it without having the factory nav.

this won't help but bluetooth always seems to be a hit or miss kind of thing..
if you think back before we had bluetooth and just used our phones. sometimes you got a good signal and other times you didn't... same thing with the bluetooth.. |
