SDXC Compatible with AVIC Z-120BT?

I just recently purchased a AVIC Z-120BT double din for my Nismo 370z and was wondering if anyone has ever used a SDXC SD card with this unit. I was thinking about buying a 64GB SD card because I will be putting movies, music, pictures on this etc. and would like to have as much space as possible. I know SD and SDHC cards are compatible, and I have reached out to Pioneer who said that the SDXC is not compatible but have no information to back it up. They were just reading the specs on the device itself. Has anyone ever success with an SDXC in a AVIC Z-120BT?

from what i remember, all the pioneer double din's have a max limit of something like 2,000 songs - regardless of SD card size. btw, this belongs in the audio section.

Well, regardless of that, SDXC cards are only compatible with some things. Do you know if the AVIC Z-120BT is one of those?

The whole point of using an SD card is so that I don't have to use an ipod. Can someone just help me out please...

As pointed out Pioneers only will see 2,000 songs, you could try partition the drive into maybe two or three partitions that may help. However the head unit may not see all the drives. That is why I recommended a ipod sync all your music in a 30 dollar broken screen ipod from ebay and be done.

Point being is that I don't want to spend $150 on a SDXC and have it bot work, and I'm out $150. I don't want to use an ipod. SDXC cards are only compatible with certain devices, which no one has answered the question if this is compatible or not.

Yes, up to 2000 songs than no it is not after that.
