smart key not starting the car..
 

Hi,

I am in the middle of installing a backup camera and i tried to start the car it wont start tells me "no key" I insert the key in the hole and car starts...

Also all doors on the outside open with the smart key in pocket...

this was at 3.30 am last night so I have not been able to search much pls help..

press the lock/unlock buttons on the remote. Replace the battery if that does not work. The fact that it starts is a good thing...

i did press lock/unlock all of that works fine!...

I do have the ac controls... center console air bag disconnected while I am doing this...

If you have the air bag disconnected and you have the battery connected you will have a SRS light on(air bag).

that i know.. I didnt say anything about the air bag light...

Anyways... it started working by itself now!!

Ck connection to the thin wireharness connected to the center console. It appears to be the antenna...
