Cant unlock maps on Kenwood DNX9960
 

Last week when I went to input an address for directions I got this messege that read "Cant unlock maps". After some research ive noticed alot of Kenwood/Garmin owners are having the same problem. I called Garmin (which were slightly rude and not to helpful) and they said I need to ship my unit in to a Kenwood Service center. I say f*** that. So, does anyone on this forum know how to fix this? Please help :icon14:

BTW, i did update the units firmware and garmin software. still didnt work. :facepalm:

Are you trying to use updated maps or the ones that are stored on the unit?

The one that is already on the unit.
